Thank you, Okavango Foundation!

The North Carolina-based Okavango Foundation has committed $500,000 to the red wolf wildlife crossings! This incredible generosity from this family foundation will help build wildlife crossings in red wolf territory and save this species. We are deeply grateful to Okavango Foundation for their heroic and inspiring donation.

The Okavango Foundation is driven by the mission to restore and protect the health of the planet, including the animals and humans who call this world home. The Okavango Foundation focuses on the world’s blue, gray, and green: ocean & waterway conservation, wildlife & animal protection, and mental health advancements.

The Okavango Foundation is founded and led by the Keefes– a family driven to make the world a better place. This family from Chapel Hill, N.C., is deeply committed to land and ocean conservation, animal shelters and sanctuaries, and research and treatment for mental health.

The Keefes are proof that a few individuals can make a big difference. This dedicated family has helped secure wildlife crossings along Highway 64  and given red wolves a fighting chance at survival.
